Sunday Notices 13th August 2017

  1. (Only for Sat) Family Cell meeting will be held this evening after the Mass in the Parish Hall.

  2. Members of Welcome Ministry will meet tomorrow / today at 11.30 a.m. in the Parish Hall.

  3. Tuesday, 15th August is the solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Independence Day. It is a day of obligation and Masses will be like Sunday.

  4. Session on Preventive Health Care will be held on Sunday, 20th August at 5.00 p.m. on the ground floor of the school building.

  5. Novena to the Nativity of our Lady will begin from Wednesday, 30th August. As usual, those who would like to sponsor sweets for the children can give their contribution at the Parish Office.

  6. Our parish is organizing a pilgrimage to Holy land from 19th to 30th October. It includes Jordan, Israel, Palestine and Egypt. This will be a lifelong spiritual experience in the land where Jesus was born, where He lived, preached, healed, ministered and was crucified. The hotels, meals, transport and sightseeing will be best available at a most reasonable price. As seats are limited, please contact Fr. Francis Carvalho or register at the Parish Office at the earliest.

  7. Annual Marian Night Vigil to pray for Peace will be held on Monday, 14th August at Sacred Heart Church, Santa Cruz (West) from 10.00 p.m. to 5.30 a.m.

  8. Laity Training Centre is organizing a counseling course BCS (Basic Counseling Skills) on Sundays morning at St. John the Evangelist Church, Marol, starting from Sunday, 3rd September. Kindly see the Notice Board for details.

  9. The managing Committee meeting of the Bombay Catholic Sabha will be held on Sunday, 20th August after the 10.30 a.m. Mass in the Parish Hall.

  10. Youth will meet on Sunday, 20th August after the evening mass in the Parish hall.

  11. The members of the Family Cell are organizing a get together for all the Inter-faith married couples on Saturday, 19th August from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. All the Inter-faith married couples are welcome.
