21st Sunday of the Year Sunday Notices 25th August 2019
Walking Rosary will be held this evening immediately after the Mass on the ground floor of the school building. All are requested to assemble there. The rosary will be led by the Communities of Corner III. In case you have any intention, you can put the same in the box before the rosary. During the last decade we will pray for all those intentions. After the rosary, there will be a game of housie and refreshments on sale.
Novena to the Nativity of our Lady will begin from Friday, 30th August. As usual, those who would like to sponsor sweets for the children can give their contribution at the Parish Office.
In view of Novenas to the Nativity of our Lady, Parish Pastoral Council meeting will be held on Sunday, 1st September at 11.30 a.m. in the Parish Hall.
The last day to submit the “LOGO” for Parish Golden Jubilee Competition is tomorrow / today at 11.30 a.m. at the Parish Office.
The program on “Building Relationship within Family” for parents of Confirmation students scheduled on Sunday, 25th August is postponed. The date and time will be communicated through the Confirmation students to their parents.
“Novem Jevon” will be held on Sunday, 22nd September. Coupons are available with the Konkani Seva Mandal members at Rs.130.00 per person.
A Mass for the sick and aged will be celebrated at Mt. Mary Basilica, Bandra on Monday, 9th September at 11.30 a.m. Sr. Citizens from our parish who wish to participate are invited to avail of bus transport facility from Church to Basilica made available by the Association. To partly cover the arrangements, a registration fee of Rs.50.00 is being charged. Remainder will be borne by the parish. Those interested please register before or after weekend Masses on 24th / 25th August and 31st August / 1st September.
The Archdiocese is collecting donations for Flood relief. Cheques are to be drawn in favour of Centre for Social Action. Along with the cheque please mention name, contact details and PAN number. Cheques can be handed over at the Parish Office. You can also make online payment by visiting CSA website www.csamumbai.in Please note that Centre for Social Action DOES NOT accept cash donations.
