Sunday Notices - 9th November 2025

1. Today is The Feast of Dedication of the Latern Basilica, the first major Basilica built where all the Popes resided till the shift to the present place.

   
   

2. PPC Meeting will be held today (Saturday 8th of November) at 8.15 P. M. in the Parish Hall.

   
   

3. Please note during the month of November, there will be an additional Mass in Tamil on Tuesdays and Fridays at 8.00 P. M.

   
   

4. There is a Dental Camp today from 9.00 A.M. to 12.00 Noon at the School basement. Please avail of this facility.

   
   

5. The Rosary Parish Unit of The Bombay Catholic Sabha is organizing a silent protest today outside the Church compound against the proposed "Freedom of Religious Bill" drafted by the Maharashtra govt. All are requested to participate in the protest.

6. To raise funds for the new Church project, St. Anthony’s Church, Malwani is organizing a Music and Dance Nite on 15th November, 2025 at 6.00 P. M. For passes, please contact the Parish Office of St Anthony’s Church, Malwani.

7. World Day of the Poor is celebrated on Sunday, 16th November, 2025. On this day, SVP unit of our Parish will be distributing food packets to the pavement dwellers of Goregaon, Jogeshwari and Malad.

8. Sunday, 23rd November, we celebrate the Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, The King of the Universe. Adoration in the Church is as follows:

   1. 12.00 Noon - 1.00 P. M. English

   2. 1.00 P. M. - 2.00 P. M. Konkani

   3. 2.00 P. M. - 3.00 P. M. Marathi

   4. 3.00 P. M. - 04.00 P. M. Tamil

   5. 4.00 P. M. - 04.30 P. M. General

   6. 4.30 P. M. - Procession followed by Sermon and Benediction.

8. The Examiner Christmas-Special Colour magazine of the Archdiocese of Bombay will be published on 20th December, 2025. This issue can be booked in the Parish Office on payment of Rs. 100/- per copy by Wednesday 10th of December. Annual subscribers will get their copies as they have already paid for it.

   The renewal of the subscription for the year 2026 can be done in the Parish Office.

10. The Pre-Bap Course for expectant parents will be held on 7th and 14th December at 4.00 P. M. at the Old Chapel Room. Please register in the Parish Office for the same.

11. “The Catholic Charismatic Renewal Mumbai” invites you to “The Chosen Encounter”, an audio-visual faith experience programme on Saturday, 6th December, 2025 from 5.00 P. M. to 10.00 P. M. at Holy Cross Church Grounds, Kurla. Registrations can be done at the Help Desk on 15th, 16th, 22nd & 23rd of November.
