Sunday Notices - 30th November 2025

1. Today is First Sunday of Advent. Envelope for the Advent Campaign against hunger and disease are placed in a box at the center of the Church. A box to receive your donation is also placed in the center of the Church.

2. We thank our Parishioners and the Volunteers for participating wholeheartedly in the Adoration and the Procession on Feast of Christ the King.

3. Wednesday, 3rd of December, we celebrate the Solemnity of St. Francis Xavier. He is the Principal Patron of our Archdiocese.

4. Friday, 5th of December is first Friday of the month, Adoration before the Blessed Sacrament will be held as follows at 5.30 P. M. in Tamil, at 6.00 P. M. in Konkani and at 6.30 P. M. in English.

5. PPC Meeting will be held on Saturday, 6th of December at 8.15 P. M. in the Parish Hall. Parish Council members are requested to be present along with a copy of the Archdiocesan SSC Evaluation Sheet. It is the first topic for discussion.

6. There will be Mass in Marathi at 12.15 P. M. on Sunday 7th of December.

7. The Pre-Bap Course for expectant parents will be held on 7th and 14th of December at 4.00 P. M. at the Old Chapel Room. Please register in the Parish Office for the same.

8. We begin our Octave of Christmas with an evening of Community singing of Christmas Carols on Sunday, 14th of December after the 6.00 P. M. Mass. Please join our Choir as they lead us with Carols singing in various languages.

9. “The Catholic Charismatic Renewal Mumbai” invites you to “The Chosen Encounter”, an Audio-Visual faith experience programme on Saturday, 6th of December, 2025 from 5.00 P. M. to 10.00 P. M. at Holy Cross Church Grounds, Kurla. Registrations can be done at the Help Desk today and tomorrow.

10. A Christian Life Seminar “Rooted in Love” is being organized today and on Sunday, 7th of December for all couples of our Parish in the Parish Hall from 9.00 A. M. to 1.30 P. M.

11. The Bombay Catholic Sabha has announced its Annual Educational Excellence Awards for the academic year 2024 - 25. Entry Forms can be collected from the Church Office during Office hours. For further details please see the Notice Board.

12. The Goan Community and the Assumption Youth of Our Lady of Assumption Church, Kandivli (West) is organizing a Fun-Fair today and on 1st, 2nd and 3rd December. For further details please see the banner displayed outside.

13. St. John Bosco and the Singles Ministry are organizing programmes for seeking partners in life on 7th of December, 2025 respectively. For further information on the programme please refer the Notice Board.

14. Snehalaya Family Service Centre is organizing Archdiocese Festival of Families on 28th of December, 2025 at Our Lady of Velankanni Shrine, Bhatebunder, Uttan. For information and registration, please see the Notice Board.

15. The Examiner Christmas-Special Colour Magazine of the Archdiocese of Bombay will be published on 20th of December, 2025. This issue can be booked in the Parish Office on payment of Rs. 100/- per copy by Wednesday, 10th of December. Annual subscribers will get their copies as they have already paid for it.

The renewal of the subscription for the year 2026 can be done in the Parish Office.
