Today is Twenty-Sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time and World Day of Migrants. We pray for all our workers specially those who have left their family and serve us in various places.
PPC Meeting will be held today (Saturday, 27th September) at 8.15 P. M. in the Parish Hall.
Please note the following Novena & Feast Day instructions:
On Thursday, 2nd October, 2025, in preparation of the Novena of Our Lady of the Rosary, our Patroness, there will be Flag Hoisting after the 6.00 P. M. Tamil Mass.
Starting Friday, 3rd October, we begin the Novena in honour of Our Lady of the Rosary. The Novena Mass in English will be at 7.00 P. M. and in Tamil at 8.00 P. M. during the week days.
On Sunday, 5th October, the Novena Prayer will be recited in Tamil at 9.30 A. M. Mass and in English at 11.00 A. M. Mass.
On Wednesday, 8th October, the Konkani Mass with Novena will be at 6.00 P. M.
On Sunday, 12th October, we celebrate our Parish Feast. The 11.00 A. M. Feast Mass will be celebrated by Rev. Fr. Jervis D’Souza. Please note the evening 6.00 P. M. Mass will be celebrated by Rev. Fr. Albert Anthony in Tamil followed by the Procession.
Blessed Sacrament Adoration and Charismatic Prayer meetings will not be conducted during the Novena days.
Parishioners are requested not to gather in the Sacristy and in the room opposite to the Sacristy during Novena days as it will be reserved for visiting Priests.
There will be Mass in Marathi next Sunday 5th October at 12.15 P. M.
On the occasion of our Parish Feast, a 2 - day celebration has been planned i.e. on 11th and 12th October, 2025 wherein Food Stalls and Flea Market have been planned.
Parishioners who are interested in participating as volunteers or donors in the food stall please contact Mr. Richard D’Sa or Mr. Arokyaswamy. For products other than the food items, you are requested to meet Mr. John Regis or Mr. Stanley Almeida. Your PPC member will help you get in touch with the above persons, if you have any difficulty in contacting them.
For any funeral related matters Parishioners are requested to please furnish the Medical Cause of Death Certificate before requesting the fixing of date and time of funerals or making any announcement.
St. Thomas Academy and Parish of Our Lady of the Rosary is looking out for an Administrative Assistant to look after the maintenance, cleaning and daily running of the place. Salary is Rs 21,000/- per month. Interested candidates contact the Parish Office with your resume on or by Sunday, 5th October, 2025.
