Sunday Notices - 24th August 2025

1. Today is Twenty-First Sunday in Ordinary time and Justice Sunday. We pray for all those who are involved in this Ministry.

   
   

2. We thank our Eco Warrior team for their hard work in organizing the sapling outreach for our Parish. May we learn to nurture God’s Gift of our planet and our faith too.

3. Today & Tomorrow our Parish is conducting Plastic Waste Drive as part of the Eco-Warrior Month. For further details please refer our Notice Board.

   
   

4. Meeting of the Ministers of the Word will be held tomorrow / today 24th August 2025 at 5.00 p.m. in the old Chapel Room. All MOW’s of our Parish are requested to attend the meeting. For further details please refer our Notice Board.

   
   

5. Nativity Novena begins from Saturday, the 30th August, 2025 which will be conducted by Sunday School teachers and children with novena prayers during the 7.00 p.m. Mass on week-days & at 8.15 a.m. Mass on Sundays.

   1. We welcome sponsors / donors in cash and in kind. The list of offerings by children during the Novena is put on the notice board. Children are requested not to eat or have cold-drinks in the church. Parents are encouraged to send their children in time for the skit.

   2. The Skit during the Novena days will begin at 6.55 p.m. followed by Mass. Parishioners are requested to participate in large numbers and encourage the children.

   3. There will be no Charismatic Prayer meetings and also other novena prayers will not be said during this period.

   4. Please note there will be no Konkani Mass on Wednesday, the 03rd September, 2025.

      
      

6. The Senior Citizen Association of our Parish is organizing a get-together at the school basement on 30th August from 5.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. Registration can be done at the desk outside the Church @ Rs 50/- per person.

   
   

7. The Media Cell of the Parish has started a Whatsapp Channel. For further details please see the notice board.

   
   

8. Marriage Encounter live-in-weekend will be held on 06th & 07th September, 2025 at Canossa Convent, Andheri East. For details, please see the Notice Board.

   
   

9. The Examiner Ecology Special focusing on environment will be published on 30th August, 2025 to commemorate the10th anniversary of Laudato Si and the beginning of the Season of Creation 2025. This issue will be free for annual subscribers. Those who need a copy of this issue amounting to Rs 50/- per copy can give their names in the Parish office.
