Sunday Notices - 1st March 2026

1. *Today is the Second Sunday of Lent. The Sunday invites us to reflect on metamorphosis, using the Lenten Season to change our lives by the Grace of the transfigured Jesus.*

2. *Our Parish Priest will be on Retreat from Sunday 1st March to Friday 6th March. In his absence, Fr. Alex Gonsalves will be the acting Parish Priest.*

3. *We request you also to keep in prayer the persons discern for themselves and the Community at large to be members for our Parish Pastoral Council. Nomination Forms are available in our Parish Office during Office hours. The last date for submission of the duly filled Nomination Forms is Wednesday, 4th of March 2026.*

4. *There will be Mass in Marathi today, 1st March, 2026 at 12.15 P. M.*

5. *Take – Charge, a Youth Mentorship Programme of the Archdiocese of Bombay invites all Youth and Parents to an Orientation Meeting about the Programme & its benefits. An Organizer of the Mentorship Program will be available to explain about what Mentorship is all about & take questions. It will be held on 1st March in the Parish Hall at 7.00 P. M.*

6. *The Rosarian Youth is going on a Lenten Pilgrimage to Pranam Maria, Mount Mary Bandra on Tuesday, 3 March. The Bus will leave at 7.50 A. M. sharp from the Church-compound. The Preacher will be Dn. Ivan, Director of Youth Archdiocese, Bombay. Registration is Rs. 50.00 only. Parents are requested to encourage the Youth to attend. For Registration please contact Fr. Karthick or Romit.*

7. *Friday, 6th March is First Friday of the month. Adoration before the Blessed Sacrament will be held as follows at 5.30 P. M. in Tamil, at 6.00 P. M. in Konkani and at 6.30 P. M. in English.*

8. *PPC Meeting will be held on Saturday, 7th March at 8.15 P. M. in the Parish Hall. Parish Council members are requested to be present.*

9. *Sunday School will have its last class on 8th March for the current Academic Year. We pray for our Children who will appear for their Final Exam.*

10. *Our Youth are organizing the Screening of the film ’The Hope’, a relevant movie for today’s family life, trust and having faith in God. Requesting all families to come for this screening. The movie in Hindi will be screened on Sunday 8th March at 7.30 P. M. in the School Quadrangle.*

11. *Stations of the Cross in Konkani on Wednesday, Tamil on Thursday and in English on Friday after the evening Mass.*

12. *Lenten Program is displayed on a banner in the Church compound as well as circulated in the Community Whattsapp Groups.*

13. *Admissions for Aquinas International School have begun. Please contact the Aquinas International School Office for the same.*

14. *Bombay Catholic Sabha is having Blood Donation Camp today Sunday 1st March, 2026 from 7.30 A. M. to 1.30 P. M. at the School Basement. Parishioners are requested to join & contribute to this noble cause. For further details, please see the Notice Board.*

15. *Parents and Youth of those between the ages 16 to 25 please take note. Our Archdiocesan Youth Centre is offering various summer camps at Khandala with limited seats. Those desiring to attend, please contact the Youth Center directly on numbers displayed on poster on the Notice Board.*

16. *The Annual Walking Pilgrimage from St. Thomas Church, Goregaon (East) will be on Saturday 14th March, 2026 at 10.00 P. M. ending with the Holy Eucharist at Basilica of Our Lady of the Mount, Bandra at 5.30 A. M. on 15th March, 2026.*
