Sunday Notices - 18th January 2026

1. Today is the second Sunday in Ordinary-Time and also Vocation Sunday. We pray to the Lord of the harvest to send more of his laborers' into his harvest-field.

We also celebrate Laity Sunday today and acknowledge our Parish Lay- Faithful's contribution to the Ministry they serve by their time and talent. A blessing of all the PPC, Animators & Heads of Association will take place at the 11.00 am mass.

2. This week, Sunday 18 January to 25 January we celebrate Christian Unity Octave, inviting Church worldwide to pray in unity as one Body of Christ.

3. Sunday of the Word of God' we celebrate on 25 January. Holy Bible will be enthroned on Saturday, 24 January at the 7: 00 pm Mass.

Sunday, 25 January, two of our Word Ministers will be re- commissioned at the 8: 15 am mass.

Our Parish has organized Bible Quiz on the Books of Judges & Luke at the School-Basement after the mass. Parishioners are requested to participate.

4. 33 Confirmands will be having Recollection and Confessions today from 2.00 pm onwards in our Church.

Please keep them in prayer as they will be receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation at 6.00 p.m. Mass on Saturday 3 1st January, 2026 Archbishop John Rodrigues is the Confirming Bishop. Please note the mass that day is anticipated to 6 p.m.

5. Please keep 40 Communicants in Prayer as they will be receiving Jesus in the Sacrament of Holy Eucharist for the first time on Sunday, January 25 at 11.00 am Mass.

As the First Holy Communicants will be having their practice from 19th to 23rd January after the evening Mass, please note there will be no Charismatic Prayer meetings during this week.

6. Online admission for Jr. KG of Our Lady of the Rosary, Kindergarten has begun from 10th January 2026 to 31st January, 2026. For further details please refer to our banner displayed.

7. Admissions for Aquinas International School have begun. Please contact the Aquinas International School office for the same.

8. Youth United for Christ, Mumbai, the Youth Wing of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal invites youths to its annual event, "Milestone 2026" on 26 January, 2026 from 4.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. at Birla Auditorium, Church-Gate. For further details refer our notice board

9. The Pauline Sisters, Bandra are offering a two-month course in Music Production, Sound Recording and Mixing from January 26 to April 17 2026. Classes will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 6.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. For further details, please see the notice board.
