Sunday Notices - 05 OCTOBER 2025

1. Today is Twenty-Seventh Sunday in Ordinary Time and Thanksgiving Day. Let us thank our Lord for all the blessings we have been receiving and pray that He keeps us in his fold and continue to bless us in the years to come.

   
   

2. Mass in Marathi today at 12.15 p.m.

   
   

3. ⁠Next Sunday, 12th October, there will be no Sunday School and Catechism Class.

   
   

4. Please note the following Novena & Feast Day instructions:

   
   

   1. Novena Masses in honour of Our Lady of the Rosary in English at 7.00 p.m. and in Tamil at 8.00 p.m.

      
      

   2. On Wednesday, 08th October, the Konkani Mass with Novena will be at 6.00 p.m.

      
      

   3. On Sunday, 12th October, we celebrate our Parish Feast. The 11.00 a.m. Feast Mass will be celebrated by Fr Jervis D’Souza. The evening 6.00 p.m. Mass will be celebrated by Fr Albert Anthony in Tamil. The Procession with the statue follows.

      
      

   4. On Monday, 13th October the Flag will be lowered after 6.00 p.m. Tamil Mass.

      
      

   5. Charismatic Prayer meetings will not be conducted during Novena.

      
      

   6. Parishioners are requested not to gather in the Sacristy and in the room opposite to the Sacristy during Novena days as it will be reserved for visiting Priests.

      
      

5. Food and other items will be on sale on Saturday 11 & Sunday 12 October. For Pre-Booking of food-items available, please contact Mr. Clifford D’Souza. For donating food items to the stall please contact Mr. Richard D’Sa. For booking of stall to sell products other than cooked food contact Mr. John Regis.

   
   

   Please note on these two days there will be no parking of vehicles in the Church campus.

   
   

6. For any funeral related matters Parishioners are requested to please furnish the Medical Cause of Death Certificate before requesting the fixing of date and time of funerals or making any announcement.

   
   

7. St Thomas Academy is looking out for House-Keeping Staff. Interested candidates contact School office with your resume by 13 October, 2025.

   
   

8. We thank Br. Edward for his presence in our Parish and we wish him God’s blessing as he leaves for his Diaconate Ordination on 14 October 2025 in Bangalore. Brother Edward may you have a fruitful ministry and we assure you of our prayers. Do pray for us too.
