✨ Building Bridges: Faith, Family and Community in Action ✨
Around 350 parishioners from all 28 Small Christian Communities came together at the Parish of Our Lady of the Rosary, Goregaon West, for a joyful and faith-filled SCC & Family Day Celebration.
The evening began with a zonal-wise procession, followed by prayer led by Rev. Fr. Colman Carlos, our Parish Priest. The celebration was graced by Fr. Alex, Fr. Nelson, Fr. Karthick, Deacon Tony, and Deacon Nelson, with Fr. Karthick, Spiritual Director of the SCCs, serving as the in-charge of the event.
The programme was vibrant and engaging, featuring karaoke action songs, dances by Zone 1 and Zone 6, an SCC video, a skit by Zone 3, spot prizes, and a lucky draw, creating moments of joy and fellowship for all.
The Chief Guest, Ms. Rhonda Divecha, Assistant Professor in Human Development, added great value through an interactive session on family life, even inviting volunteers from the audience to perform a short skit, making the reflections lively, relatable, and meaningful.
The evening concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Francis Rebello, SCC Coordinator, followed by a dinner, where families shared a meal and strengthened bonds of fellowship.
A beautiful reminder of how, as a parish, we continue building bridges of faith, family, and community in action, journeying together as true Pilgrims of Hope. 🙏🕊️
